We are delighted to let you know that the information board telling the story of the Italian Gardens from the time that they were created to the present day was installed on 29 September and it looks very good. It was made by Rivermeade signs, a London-based company with a reputation for work of the highest quality.

Several people read the text while it was propped up waiting to the installed and remarked that it was extremely interesting.

Council contractors Paul and Joe took a lot of trouble with the installation and the two bags of quick-setting concrete poured in to anchor it felt very reassuring.

The Friends are very proud to have been able to reinstate the two stone spheres and install an interpretation board, bringing the Italian Gardens back into the mainstream in 2022, their centenary year.
